How Meta purchase matching works

For eligible new online purchases, our server normalises the order email address and an explicit international phone number and sends SHA-256 hashes to Meta with the purchase event. Existing refusals, limited-purpose choices, opt-outs, GPC and verified-country restrictions remain effective. Stopping sharing prevents future transmissions, including delayed purchases not yet sent; it cannot recall data already delivered. No old purchases are replayed and this does not subscribe you to email or SMS marketing.
