Dogstar’s, The Ember Gather Jacket is cut from a textured linen–rayon pinstripe — a fabric with weight and natural irregularity, great for transeasonal wear. The silhouette is oversized, with relaxed movement; the cropped and draped body sweeps from the shoulders before dropping into a deeply gathered peplum, generous and full of quiet drama. A clean mandarin collar and a simple button front keep the structure spare, letting the gathered hem do the talking. The sleeves are cropped and wide, almost cape-like, perfect for layering. Worn over a long shirt or longer relaxed tee, the jacket becomes something more architectural whilst offering a layer of warmth and plenty of polish. In the warmer months pair with a simple shift dress or a longline cami and cocoon pants.
